Positive: Reception staff was very friendly and understanding. Received the twin bed requested. Independence to let yourself into the building after hours and very simple key drop off at the end of the stay. Property was near a bus stop and convenience shop.
Negative: Conflicting communication between Booking.com and venue regarding room check in time as well as access to the building - we were looking for an access PIN code for the key box only to discover that we should have gone to reception (there was notification on the comms nor door regarding that). Discovering we could have dropped our luggage off early instead of lugging it all over Brighton, had we known this we would have gotten the train to Hove instead. In future, will make the booking then contact venue directly for assistance. As this was a summer booking - Bedroom in the eaves was cosy but very hot and stuffy, despite the fan etc. the toilet seat wasn't bolted down...!!
Summary: A short quiet stay far from the madding crowd of Brighton.
